"єVіdnovlennya": Ukrainians have already received a billion to restore damaged housing

12,146 Ukrainians who have applied for help have already received payments under the “єVіdnovlennya” program. They have been transferred more than a billion hryvnias for the repair of apartments and houses that were damaged due to Russian shelling. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Restoration.

In general, more than 41,000 people applied for state aid. Most of them came from those territories that were under occupation or located near the border with Russia.

Among the leaders in terms of submitted applications and payments, in particular, are the following communities:

  • Kharkiv - 7 thousand applications;

  • Irpenskaya - 3 thousand applications;

  • Izyumskaya - 1.6 thousand applications;

  • Nikolaevskaya - 1.3 thousand applications;

  • Balakleyskaya - 1.3 thousand applications.

It is noted that 35% of those who took part in the Restoration program are people who are over 60 years old. The senior beneficiaries are three women who are 97 years of age. They live in the Kyiv and Nikolaev regions.

75% of all money was spent on construction materials in small local shops, construction works were also ordered from individual entrepreneurs.
